英语笔记（三十一）
这里我们总结一下，more 和 the most，在中文里可以理解为更和
最的含义，比如前面提到过的， important 重要的， more important 叫
做更加重要的，the most important 叫做最重要的，因为“最”表示的
是一个，需要被限定，所以前面需要加上 the 这个词。
如果我们把 important 换成其他的词也可以使用类似的表达，比如
前面提到过的 difficult 困难的，dangerous 危险的，beautiful 漂亮的，
valuable 宝贵的，expensive 昂贵的。
但是，如果想要表达的某个词很短，比如“大的”这个词 big，想
要表达“更大的”时候使用 more big 是不正确的，表达“最大的”时
候用 the most big 也是不对的。
它们的正确说法分别是 bigger 和 the biggest。more 和 most 这两
个表示更加和最的含义的词都被变形之后加在了 big 的末尾，more 简
化成了 er，most 简化成了 est. 因为 big 这个词足够短，所以后面再加
上几个字母也不至于很难读。而前面说的那几个很长的词，再变长就不
方便了，所以就产生了这样的区别，其实它们的含义没有差别。

另外，还有一个情况是因为英文这个杂糅的语言，在很多年的吸收
和使用其他语言的词的过程中，出现了一些不符合这两种规律的词，比
如好的叫做 good，更好的叫做 better，最好的叫做 the best。好在这种
情况并不是很多，而且都是经常会用到的词，所以很容易记住它们。下
节课我们会继续这方面内容的学习。
